This topic should focus on a local or campus issue/problem
(ideally connected to your major or extracurricular interest). All topics are
subject to my approval. Your job will be to 1) introduce the issue 2) analyze
the issue 3) indicate whom it affects/what’s at stake 4) offer a thoughtful
stance on the issue and persuade your intended audience to side with your
stance and solution. At least six sources (with annotations) are required; at
least three of these sources should be scholarly.
